Art Wolfe’s Travels to the Edge is a 26-episode television series that explores the beauty of the natural world, diverse cultures, and remote landscapes through the lens of internationally acclaimed photographer Art Wolfe. Filmed across destinations including Patagonia, Peru, Bolivia, Alaska, Ethiopia, Madagascar, India, and South Georgia Island, the series follows Art as he photographs extraordinary places, wildlife, and people in the field.
More than a travel series, it is also an intimate look at the creative process behind Art’s work. As he moves through glaciers, deserts, rainforests, mountain regions, and cultural gatherings, he shares both his enthusiasm for discovery and his professional photographic insight, giving viewers the feeling of traveling beside him.

In the second season opener, Art Wolfe ventures north to the remote region of Hokkaido to view iconic red-crested cranes; south to the mountains to film the mischievous macaque snow monkey; and journeys on to the sacred temples of Mt. Fuji and Koyosan on a photographic pilgrimage.
