Gavriel Jecan

Gavriel Jecan — “Gav” to many clients and travelers who know him from the road — has been photographing since childhood, when his father gave him his first SLR camera. A love of mountains, climbing, travel, and the natural world eventually led him toward a professional career behind the lens.

For nearly three decades, Gav has traveled extensively with Art Wolfe, assisting on workshops and photographic expeditions around the world. A member of the Travels to the Edge field crew and an accomplished photographer in his own right, he brings deep field experience, calm technical guidance, and a seasoned traveler’s perspective to every trip he helps lead.
