Cameras
My go-to cameras in the field are the Canon R5 and R5 Mark II. It’s a fast camera with plenty of pixels, which is invaluable when photographing and cropping wildlife. I still keep my 5D Mark IV as well, as the Nauticam underwater housing I use on occasion is the model designed for that camera. Extenders and extension tubes are also great ways to get more versatility and use out of your pricey lenses.

Bags
I generally try to travel with only two bags unless I’m going on a very long trip. The Gura gear City Commuter backpack holds my cameras and all the things I might need while on the plane as it’s my carry-on bag, while I check the very large wheeled Osprey bag. Both include an Apple Air Tag so I can see where they are at any given time. I don’t use the remote timer quite as often as I used to since the options on cameras and phone apps handle a lot of that these days, but it’s still useful to have for certain setups.
